DOL Notice on Information Collection Activities Has Left OMB
A notice of availability and request for comments on DOL information collection activities has left the Office of Management and Budget.
Comments are invited on the disclosure requirements of ERISA section 101(k), which requires multiemployer defined benefit and defined contribution pension plan administrators to furnish copies of certain actuarial and financial documents to participants, beneficiaries, employee representatives and contributing employers upon request.
Written comments and recommendations are requested for (1) whether the collection of information is necessary (2) the accuracy of the agency’s estimates of burden and cost (3) ways to enhance the quality of the information collection, and (4) ways to minimize the burden of collection. Comments should be sent within 30 days of the date of publication in the Federal Register.
