IRS Releases Draft 2027 Form 1099-R

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has posted a draft 2027 tax year Form 1099-R, Distributions form Pensions, Annuities, Retirement or Profit-Sharing Plans, IRAs, Insurance Contracts, etc. Form 1099-R is filed by financial organizations and service providers to report distributions from tax-qualified retirement savings arrangements to account owners and the IRS.
