Automatic Portability Rule at OMB

The Office of Management and Budget has received for review a final rule from the Department of Labor implementing a statutory exemption for the receipt of fees and compensation in connection with automatic portability transactions, pursuant to Section 120 of SECURE 2.0. Proposed regulations were issued in January 2024.
