Treasury Announces Launch of Trump Accounts App

The Treasury Department has announced the launch of the Trump Accounts mobile app. The mobile app will be the main interface for families with Trump accounts and is available on all major mobile app stores. Starting in July, authorized individuals (e.g., parents, grandparents, legal guardians) will be able to fund the new Trump accounts, also known as 530A accounts, after first opening accounts for their children by submitting IRS Form 4547.

“The Trump Administration is taking another step forward in expanding opportunity for American families. The Trump Accounts app delivers a simple, secure way for households to begin engaging with a program designed to build long-term financial strength from day one,” said Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Families who have already enrolled their children will begin receiving emails with instructions for completing the account setup process from now through July 4, 2026.
