John Shapiro is Chief Product Officer for Ascensus, where he leads the company’s enterprise-wide product vision and strategy. He is focused on strengthening how Ascensus develops and delivers products, sets priorities, and creates more connected experiences and better outcomes for clients.

Throughout his career, John has brought together user needs, business opportunities, and technology to create products that exceed expectations. He has successfully taken ideas from concept to market and helped businesses serving millions of users accelerate growth.

Before joining Ascensus, John served as Chief Product Officer for Lightspeed Commerce, a global provider of commerce software and financial technology solutions. Previously, he held product leadership roles at Wayfair, Intuit, and Adobe Systems.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
