Peg Creonte

President, Government Savings

Peg is President of Ascensus Government Savings, the nation’s leading provider of 529, ABLE, and state-facilitated retirement programs. With more than 25 years of experience across technology, consulting, and financial services, Peg has dedicated much of her career to collaborating with states and institutional partners to build tax-advantaged savings plans for their constituents. Peg’s tenure with the firm began in 2004 at Upromise Investments, which was acquired by Ascensus in 2013. During her time at Ascensus, Peg has led platform development, sales, and plan conversion organizations. Before Ascensus, Peg led a software solutions organization for Advanced Micro Devices. Peg holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Cornell University. Peg is an active member of her community, serving as a board member for athletic, religious, and volunteer organizations.
