Nick Good

Chief Executive Officer

Nick Good is Chief Executive Officer of Ascensus. In this role, Nick drives the company’s growth and oversees all operations, championing Ascensus' client-first, technology-driven approach and advancing the firm’s mission to help more savers save more. Nick has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Ascensus as President in 2023 before assuming the role of Chief Executive Officer in 2026. Prior to Ascensus, Nick served as Chief Executive Officer for Pendal Group, a global active asset manager publicly listed in Australia, with operations in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.  Earlier in his career, Nick held various leadership roles in asset management, including CEO of J O Hambro US, co-head of “SPDR” global exchange traded funds (ETFs) business for State Street Global Advisors, and CEO of iShares Asia-Pacific for BlackRock/ Barclays Global Investors, based in Hong Kong. He began his career as a consultant with The Kalchas Group in London and New York, and The Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco. Nick has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in biochemistry from Oxford University. Nick has served as an active Trustee of the New England Aquarium in Boston since 2023 and is Chair of the Aquarium’s Investment Committee.
