November 17, 2009 – The House Ways and Means Committee has again extended the time period for consideration of the 401(k) Fair Disclosure and Pension Security Act of 2009 (H.R. 2989) to December 13, 2009. The bill, sponsored by Rep. George Miller (D-Calif.), addresses the disclosure of fees charged by defined contribution plan service providers. (On October 19 the Ways and Means Committee extended its deadline for consideration of the bill to November 13.)
